Sanusi Lamido Sanusi,
Governor Central Bank of Nigeria |
Mr. Sanusi Lamido is the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Prior to CBN, he worked at the First Bank of Nigeria as Executive Director Risk and Management Control.
He worked for nine years at the United Bank for Africa Plc, where he rose from the position of Principal Manager to General Manager and Head, Risk Management. He also served in various capacities at Icon Limited (Merchant Bankers) for six years. As a fresh post graduate student, he served as a graduate assistant at the Economics Department of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Sanusi Lamido studied Economics at both graduate and post graduate levels at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also received a Bachelors degree in Shariah and Islamic Studies from the International University of Africa, Khartoum.

Dr. Magnus Kpakol
Snr. Special Asst to the President & National Cordinator
Dr. Magnus L. Kpakol is the Senior Special Assistant to the President and National Coordinator of the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) in Nigeria, before joining the government. From 2001 to 2003 he served as Chief Economic Adviser to the President of Nigeria.
He was also CEO of National Planning Commission, where he was responsible for developing national economic policy programmes for the President and for preparing the national development plans for budgeting and overall economic management.
Before joining the Federal republic of Nigeria in 2001, he was a Professor of Economics at the University of Dallas, in Irving Texas and an adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He was the President and Principal Consultant of VIJNS International, a business and management consulting firm in Carrolton, Texas.

Ladi Smith
Executive Director, Credit Awareness
Ladi Smith founded Smith Sule & Associates in 1997. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (1986) and the Nigerian Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management (1999).
A 1979 graduate of Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Mr. Smith trained and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 with Peat Marwick (Now KPMG). After a stint with Elf Oil Nigeria, he served in Trust House Group as Group Regional Director (1993-1997). Mr. Smith is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (1995) and a professional Tax Consultant.
He has over 21 years of professional experience in Oil & Gas Consulting, Auditing, Accounting, Taxation, Information Technology (MIS) and Financial Advisory roles and over 8 years experience in running a practice. |

Ismail Radwan
World Bank Senior Economist
He is the senior economist in the world’s Africa Finance and Private Sector Unit. He manages a number of high profile projects for the bank in Nigeria including the MSME and Growth, Enterprise and Markets Projects. Ismail is known for his inspirational speeches on a variety of ICT related and general management topics.
Ismail studied economics and politics at Oxford University and then received Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has lived and worked in more than thirty countries. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2000, Ismail was a principal consultant with Price water house Coopers London in the economics and strategy department. Ismail is originally from Cairo, Egypt and has been based in Nigeria since January 2008. |
