Mrs. Bunmi Lawson
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of ACCION Microfinance Bank Limited


Mrs. Bunmi Lawson is the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of ACCION Microfinance Bank Limited. ACCION Microfinance Bank was established by a group of highly successful banks, local and international investors namely; ACCION International, Citigroup, Ecobank, IFC.
Mrs. Lawson holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business school and Zenith Bank, University of Nevera and is an alumni of the Lagos Business School. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and has attended several courses both locally and internationally at renowned institutions including Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Prior to joining ACCION, Bunmi was a co-owner and Executive Director of VLA Lawrence & Associates, a leading Human Resources services organization; the Executive Director of FATE Foundation Ltd/Gte, a leading business development service provider, and has over 18 years of experience in finance, insurance, marketing and auditing. She is happily married with children.

Godwin Ehigiamusoe
Executive Director Life Above Poverty Organization (LAPO)

Godwin Ehigiamusoe, Executive Director LAPO, a micro-finance institution based in Benin City. A widely traveled professional, he leads a team of highly focused, articulate and versatile professionals with wealth of experience.
He began his involvement in microfinance in early 1980’s as a Registrar of Cooperative Societies under Bendel/Edo state Public Service. After the adoption of the components of the Structural Adjustment Programme by the Nigerian Government in 1986, with its biting effects on the Poor, Mr. Godwin Eseiwi Ehigiamusoe initiated Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) in a small town of Ogwashi-Uku, in Delta State, where he delivered three Poor Women from abject poverty.
LAPO seeks to empower the poor to break out of the grip of poverty through access to flexible financial services. The LAPO team emphasizes innovation and performance in programme delivery.

Modupe Ladipo
Chief Executive Officer, EFInA


Modupe Ladipo is the Chief Executive Officer for Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFInA). EFInA is an independent, professional, non-profit organization conceived and funded by DFID and Ford Foundation. EFInA’s mission is to make the Nigerian financial system work better, especially for the poor. Her previous work experience has primarily been within Investment Banking in the UK. Modupe has over 20 years financial services experience covering corporate strategy & development, product & markets development, mergers & acquisitions, retail and institutional brokerage. She has worked for Tata Consultancy Services, Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO, the London Stock Exchange and Credit Suisse Financial Products. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Manchester Business School and a Chemical Engineering degree from University College, London.

Taiwo Aiyedun
Chief Executive Officer of Credit Registry Services Plc

Mr. Taiwo Ayedun is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of CR Services Plc. Prior to receiving a BS degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Mr. Ayedun studied Aerospace Engineering at Parks College of St. Louis University in Missouri. He has been involved with computers and software for over 20 years and has over 15 years of deep experience in business process engineering and large-scale software engineering systems design, implementation, deployment and management at large organizations in the United States.
In 1998, Mr. Ayedun co-founded IntelliSuite Technologies (then Line of Business Systems) in Illinois. Today, IntelliSuite is a mature organization serving large multinational organizations all over the world. Mr. Ayedun previously worked at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond Washington as a Senior Consultant in the Microsoft Consulting Services group. Mr. Taiwo Ayedun founded CreditRegistry Corporation in the United States in December 2001 to license modern credit bureau technologies to the lending industries in emerging markets.
